Sanctioned Events

Our Sanctioning Policy is available to non-affiliates of Basketball Nova Scotia. It’s aimed at establishing & enforcing proper & inclusive standards and ensuring basketball environments are safe for our vulnerable persons. We realized a gap in information sharing around basketball events coming into the province of Nova Scotia. Members of our basketball community were looking for guidance around the validity of camps, clinics and programs. This policy is aimed to alleviate that issue. We are committed to vetting Nova Scotia basketball programs with the ultimate goal of ensuring athletes are participating in safe, positive basketball environments.
